Students learn acting techniques for camera. Actors are supplied scenes to perform on-camera and also learn the importance of continuety by watching their scenes being edited.

Students work with professional equipment including HD Broadcast Camera, Sennheiser Microphone, Boom, Lavalier Microphones, Lighting Equipment, Green Screen, Adobe Premiere Editing, Teleprompter and Looping Screen. This class prepares the actor to work onset. Students get to keep unedited class footage.

Tuition: $650 professional equipment included. May pay in installments.

The discipines of Stanislavski, Strasberg, Adler, Meisner, Katselas, Bogart and Watt are explored using intent, personalization, substitution, creative hiding and physical action. Campers learn how to breakdown a scene, “on-camera” cold reading, the audition process and the “business of acting.” Parents are invited to attend the “business of acting" session. Campers receive a Charlotte Acting T-shirt.

Tuition: $350 for 15-hrs of intense training.

This class gives fundamentals in acting for stage and film. Learn the disciplines of Stanislavski, Adler, Meisner, Strasberg, Katselas, Caine, Bogart and Watt. Students are introduced to relaxation, sense memory, “what if,” repetition exercises and theatre games. Students also learn improvisation, on-camera auditioning and in-depth scene study. This class covers the “business of acting,” and the culture of the industry in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta. Parents are invited to attend the "business of acting" session.

Tuition: $335 for 14-hrs of intense training.
