This class gives fundamentals in acting for film and stage. Learn the disciplines of Stanislavski, Adler, Meisner, and Strasberg along with Linda's insights and techniques to bring emotional connection to character. Students are introduced to relaxation, sense memory, “what if” and repetition exercises. Students also learn improvisation, cold reading for auditioning and in-depth scene study. This class covers the “business of acting,” and the culture of the industry in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta. Book The Actor's Manifesto; Create a Succeessful Acting Career, available on Amazon is needed for this class. After attending this class students are ready to professionally audition and are invited into Workshop Advanced for the Working Actor.

Master Class Working On-Camera

using "Film Format" Technique

8-Weekly In-Person Studio Sessions, Call to Register

Students learn acting techniques for camera. Actors are supplied scenes to perform on-camera and also learn the importance of continuety by watching their scenes being edited. Edited footage is available to actor at end of sessions.

Students work with professional equipment including HD Broadcast Camera, Sennheiser Microphone, Boom, Lavalier Microphones, Lighting Equipment, Green Screen, Adobe Premiere Editing, Teleprompter and Looping Screen. This class prepares the actor to work onset.

Tuition: $850 professional equipment and editing included. May pay in installments.

Workshop Advanced for the Working Actor

This class is for the professional actor who studied Stanislavski's system, Meisner and/or Strasberg techniques. This workshop is also open to writers and directors. Actors invited or considered with audition. Directors/writers considered with reel/writing sample.

Students are introduced to relaxation, sense memory, “what if,” repetition exercises and theatre games. Students also learn improvisation, on-camera auditioning and in-depth scene study. This class covers the “business of acting,” and the culture of the industry in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta. Parents are invited to attend the "business of acting" session.

Tuition: $365 for 14-Hours of intense training.
